A Wine Lover, not a Wine Critic
Andreas Larsson says about himself that his interest and passion for food and wine goes back to his teenage days, a period in which he was always hungry, not astonishing for somebody of his size.
Andreas Larsson started his career as a chef in 1990 after graduating from restaurant school. After some brief periods of combining the cuisine with playing Jazz music, his other passion, he decided to focus more on his interest for wine and the world of beverages.
After a lot of travelling and studies Andreas Larsson got his sommelier diploma at 'Restaurangakademien' in Stockholm 1999. Best Sommelier of Sweden in 2003, he won the title of Best Sommelier of Europe in 2004.
Andreas Larsson is currently the Best Sommelier of the World and works for PM &Vänner restaurant in Vaxjö Sweden. He is the consultant Sommelier for Asiana Airlines and a lecturer at various sommelier educations in Scandinavia.
A fervent writer, Andreas frequently contributes to various wine publications in Sweden and abroad. He also entertains his personal wine blog on his homepage www.andreaslarsson.org to share his passion for wine with all of you.
